8.00pm Laycock Street Community Theatre
Emerson Goodenough performs Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street
Emerson Goodenough performs Peggy Sawyer

I’ve been shooting various aspects of this show including the upcoming dress rehearsal. Read my story on Emerson Goodenough who performs the role of Peggy Sawyer with some fabulous backstage pictures.

This is a ‘backstage musical’ show and focuses on the efforts of famed director, Julian Marsh, performed by Callum Hayes, to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression.

He needs ‘Pretty Lady‘ to be a hit. But when leading lady Dorothy Brock, performed by Kate Thomas, breaks her ankle, young hopeful Peggy Sawyer, performed by Emerson Goodenough, must step in to save the show.

Tickets are on sale now at Laycock Street Community Theatre. Book here >

Opening Day for Wyong Drama Group’s Nunsense II – The Second Coming

Gabbie Magee performs Sister Leo
Gabbie Magee performs Sister Leo

2.00pm and 7.30pm Red Tree Theatre, 160 Pacific Highway, Tuggerah

Another theatre shoot which has been lots of fun with these gorgeous women.

The Second Coming takes place six weeks after the sisters have staged their first benefit (Nunsense the Musical). They’re back presenting a ‘thank you’ show for all the people who supported them in the past. But now, they're a bit slicker, having been bitten by the ‘theatre bug’. Things get off to a rousing start, but before long chaos erupts.

This show is performed in the new Red Tree Theatre. Because of changes of dates, opening night is Opening Matinee!
